Lose 5 Pounds in 10 Days!

Have you put on some extra weight in the last year? Would you like to lose 5 pounds in 10 days without dieting? Would you like to feel better with more energy? Then I have some great tips for you! Here are 3 ways to look better, feel better and have more energy!

1. Switch:

Soda’s and sugary beverages for alternative drinks, such as tea (lots of varieties and flavors available), coffee (a little milk okay), water (add some fresh lemon or orange juice to boost flavor), or natural, no-sugar fruit smoothies with water and ice to cool down this summer!

The extra sugar in soda (about 8-10 teaspoons) will spike your glucose  adding extra fat. Plus, it’s toxic to your organs and brain, and causes mood swings and stress! You’re paying a high price for empty-calorie beverages. Plus, they use up other vitamin and minerals during digestion that you need for your health!

Once you stop adding all those empty calories, you will start losing weight naturally, have less cravings, and your energy will actually improve (it’s a myth that these foods provide healthy energy, they will make you feel more fatigued overall)!

2. Replace:

Candy and processed snacks (chips, crackers, cookies, snack cakes, pretzels, muffins, etc.), with better  snacks like unprocessed nuts (toast lightly for added crunch), fruit (grapes and berries are easy, no cutting or pealing), veggie sticks (lots of flavors and colors), low-fat string cheese (many flavors now), low-sugar yogurt (lots of flavors available), olives, or protein snacks like tuna salad for more satisfying snacks. Whole foods level your blood sugar and keep you full longer. They also have more vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber and provide more sustained energy all day long!

Again, with these foods you will stop adding toxic calories and fat and you’ll start to lose weight naturally, plus you’ll feel better with less cravings!

3. Add:

Movement! Even light exercise like brisk walking for 15-20 minutes several times per week will help rev your metabolism and burn more fat and calories! Once you tweak your eating and nutrition, you’ll fee better so it will be easier to be more active! Go in the early morning or late evening to avoid the heat this summer. Dancing, biking, swimming, playing with your kids are all great as long as you are active for 15 to 20 minutes 3-4 days a week.

With this mix of better nutrition and activity, the weight will fall away! Working with a coach will make it more fun and engaging! And if you’re wondering, I’ve followed all these steps for years. I lost some extra weight after a car accident left me partially disabled and I’ve now recovered all of my strength and ability without the surgery they recommended!
